After high school I attended College of Lake County, then Illinois State University. Following graduation, I started a career at Allstate Insurance in procurement (where I met my husband) and then as an internal consultant to the organization. After 32 wonderful years with the company, we decided our children were more important than another promotion, so I chose to retire. As co-founder of a nonprofit, I still keep myself quite busy.

Cooking relaxes me after a stressful day; sometimes my teenage daughters will aggravate me just to get an elaborate meal. I love animals and have passed that trait on to my oldest daughter who trains dogs with me for our nonprofit. We enjoy traveling as a family and my husband and I love to get away when we are certain the kids are with someone responsible enough not to let them throw a party.

This will be the first official reunion I will be attending! I had family obligations (weddings, vacations, etc.) for all the previous events, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone in September!
